Hiking
Kokohead
A short, vigorous hike that is almost only done by locals. Not very touristy. Find out more.
–
Diamond Head
Diamond Head has a trail but its very dry and not challenging in terms of hike, although its decent exercise. Find out more.
–
Makupu
A hike (more of a walk) that is fifteen minutes from the house. Just past Sandy’s Beach, it offers a great view and often glimpses of whales when migrating. Find out more.
–
Most locals, including surf instructors should be able to give info on any of these hikes.
Note: Makupu and other places–don’t leave anything in the car. There have been cases of rental cars being broken into.
