The Ty Gurney Surf School will pick you up at your hotel and ensure you discover Hawaiian surfing heaven! Every Surf Safari is unique and your instructor will customize your day around your skills and preferences, supplementing surfing with additional island activities like hiking, kayaking, sighting-seeing, and snorkelling if desired.
The TGSS Surf Safaris are perfect for kids and adults, and all levels of surfing. The full day includes lunch at a local favorite, usually on the North Shore. All necessary equipment is provided by TGSS, including our fun Jeep transport.

Surf Safari Full-Day North Shore
TGSS will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Hawaiian surfing heaven!
Our elite instructors will take you to various local surfing spots around
the island, including our beautiful North Shore with its world famous surf
breaks. Your instructor can customize your day to include other activities
ranging from hiking, kayaking, sight seeing, to snorkelling. The full day
includes lunch at a local favourite. All equipment will be provided, along
with your choice of TGSS jeep: our luxury four door air-conditioned Jeep or
our rugged open-air surf Jeep.
Surf Safari Half-Day East Side
A half day Surf Safari is also available, and your instructor will take you
to various scenic surfing spots around the East side of Oahu. A wonderful
way to experience the island, and get a taste of surfing away from the
crowds of Waikiki. All equipment is provided, including choice of Jeep
transport.
